Cookie Policy

Updated October 22, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar identifiers translate.law uses. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which describes the personal information those tools can collect.

What we mean by cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser. We also use similar storage, such as pixels and scripts from analytics and call-tracking providers, to recognize a browser across pages.

This site sets cookies when you visit. There is no separate cookie banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site still loads, and you can still request a quote. Blocking cookies can prevent us from connecting that quote to the ad or page that referred you.

Cookies we set

tl_session keeps a first-party session identifier for up to 90 days so repeat visits from the same browser can be tied together.

tl_attr stores attribution for the visit, including the landing page, referrer, campaign parameters, and lead source, for up to 90 days.

We also set first-party cookies that our call-tracking provider reads: lead_source, seo_user_agent_c, gclid, gbraid, wbraid, landing_page_c, and promotion_code. Those last up to 30 days. They record how you arrived, including Google click identifiers when they are present in the URL.

Analytics and call tracking

Google Analytics (measurement ID G-EMRC0SB1M8) measures page views and general traffic. Google may set its own cookies, such as _ga, under Google's terms.

CallRail swaps the phone number shown on the site and records call attribution. CallRail may set its own cookies when its script runs.

These tools receive technical data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and the referring URL.

How to control cookies

Use your browser settings to block, limit, or delete cookies. Browser makers document this in their help pages. Blocking third-party cookies stops many analytics and advertising cookies. Blocking all cookies also clears the first-party attribution cookies listed above.

Google offers its own opt-out for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking the CallRail script in a browser extension will stop call-number swapping and CallRail cookies.

Do-not-track signals are not honored as a separate setting, because browsers implement them inconsistently. The cookie controls above are the reliable way to limit this tracking.

Changes

If we add or remove a cookie, we will update this page and the date at the top. The Privacy Policy explains how to ask questions about the information those cookies support.
