Terms of Service

We provide language services, including certified translation, human-verified AI translation, interpretation, transcription, captioning, and related support for legal and official use.

A translation or interpretation is a language service. It is not legal advice, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship with Translate.Law LLC. You are responsible for confirming that the deliverable matches what the receiving agency, court, school, or other institution requires.

Certified translation ordered on this site is priced per page. The rate depends on the language pair shown in the order form. The starting published rate is $14.50 per page. A page on this form is one uploaded file. Shipping by FedEx 2 Day adds $25. Certification and notarization are included on certified orders placed through the site.

Rush doubles the per-page rate and is offered as a 3-hour turnaround. It is available only for the language pairs and hours shown on the order form, and only for orders of up to 10 pages with a single target language. If rush is not available for that pair or that time, the order has to be placed at the standard rate.

Standard turnaround shown on the form is an estimate based on page count. The confirmed scope is the quote or the order you submit.

AI translation, interpretation, and other services requested through the contact form are quoted separately. AI translation on the pricing page starts at $0.03 per word. Interpretation on the pricing page starts at $56 per hour. The quote we send is the price for that job.

An apostille, when you need one, is quoted separately from the certified translation.

Certified orders placed with Order Online Now are paid through PayPal before production is released as a paid order. Submit for Review sends the order for a follow-up without taking payment on the site. Rush orders have to be paid at checkout.

You agree to pay the total shown before you submit, including any rush doubling and any FedEx fee you selected. If a file cannot be opened or the job is materially different from what the form could count, we will contact you before continuing at a revised price.

You represent that you have the right to send us the files and instructions you upload, and that doing so does not violate someone else's rights.

You keep ownership of your source documents. We keep the rights in our methods, software, site content, and the form of our certificates. You receive the finished translation or other deliverable for the purpose you ordered.

We use your files and instructions to perform the service. We do not publish them, and we do not use them to train public AI models. Access is limited to people who need the material to quote, produce, review, or support the job.

If your matter needs a separate confidentiality agreement, ask for it through the contact form before you send sensitive files.

Do not use the site to send malware, to probe or disrupt our systems, or to upload content you are not allowed to share. Do not attempt to place orders with false contact details or payment information.

We may refuse or cancel a request that we cannot produce safely, that asks us to misstate a document, or that conflicts with these terms. If we cancel a paid order before work starts, we will refund the amount paid for that order.

The site and its content are provided as available. Published rates, turnaround bands, and office information can change, and the quote or checkout total controls the specific order.

To the extent the law allows, Translate.Law LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from the use of the site or from a delay by a third party such as a shipping carrier, a payment processor, or a receiving institution. Our total liability for a given order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.

Some states do not allow certain limitations. In those states, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising out of the site or an order will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless a different forum is required by law.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the latest revision. An order already placed stays on the terms and the price in effect when you submitted it.
