This policy describes how Translate.Law LLC handles personal information on translate.law, including quote requests, certified orders, and ordinary visits to the site.
Who we are
Translate.Law is operated by Translate.Law LLC. We provide certified translation, human-verified AI translation, interpretation, transcription, captioning, and related language work for law firms, companies, and individuals.
Translate.Law LLC, Biscayne Blvd Way, Suite 2906, Miami, FL 33132. Toll free +1 888-204-5928. You can also reach us through the contact form at https://www.translate.law/contact.
Information we collect
When you request a quote or place an order, we collect the details you submit: name, email, phone number, the service you need, language pair, delivery choice, and any notes you include.
If you upload files, we receive those documents, their file names, and their size. Certified orders also include the page count we use to price the job, whether you asked for rush delivery, and whether you chose digital delivery or FedEx.
When you pay online, PayPal processes the payment. We receive the result of that payment, including an order reference and whether it was completed. We do not store your full card number on this website.
When you browse the site, we collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring site, and advertising identifiers present in the link you used to arrive (for example a campaign parameter or click ID).
How we use information
We use this information to prepare quotes, deliver the work you ordered, contact you about that request, process payment, and keep a record of the order.
We also use visit and campaign data to understand which pages and ads bring people to the site, and to associate a quote with the visit that led to it.
Client documents are used to perform the translation, interpretation, transcription, or related service you requested. They are not used to train public AI models.
Documents you send us
Uploaded files are stored so our production team can open them, count them, and complete the work. A link to those files is sent with the order record. Files are not posted publicly.
People who need the file to do the job, including assigned linguists and project staff, can access it for that purpose. We treat client files as confidential work product.
Who receives information
We share information with service providers that help us run the site and the work: PayPal for checkout, Google Analytics for site measurement, CallRail for call tracking, our hosting and file-storage provider, and our customer and order system, where quotes, orders, and file links are recorded.
We share a file with the linguist or interpreter assigned to your matter. We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect the rights, safety, or property of our clients, our staff, or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep quote details, order records, uploaded files, and payment records for as long as we need them to deliver the work, handle billing questions, and meet accounting and legal duties. When a record is no longer needed, we delete it or reduce it to a form that no longer identifies you.
Cookie lifetimes are described in the Cookie Policy. First-party session and attribution cookies last up to 90 days. CallRail attribution cookies last up to 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Order files are stored in access-controlled storage, and payment details are handled by PayPal rather than entered into our own card system.
No method of transmission or storage is perfect. If you believe an account or order of yours was exposed, contact us through the form on this site.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about a quote or order, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we are not required to keep it. Use the contact form and include the email address you used on the order.
You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies does not stop you from requesting a quote. It can limit how we attribute that visit to an ad or campaign. See the Cookie Policy for the cookies this site sets.
If you are in a state that gives you additional privacy rights, you can use the same contact form to make that request. We will not discriminate against you for asking.
Children
This site is for law firms, businesses, and adults ordering language services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page is the latest revision. Continued use of https://www.translate.law after an update means you are using the site under the revised policy.
